Just two & a half hours from London on the train, and served by the Norfolk coasthopper bus-service. It’s the perfect base to explore the north-norfolk coastline, with its wild beauty, big-skies and fantastic food-scene.
Cromer is famous for it’s crabs, and crabbing, the lifeboats, it’s thriving fishing industry, Norfolk’s tallest church and lately the addition of a new Banksy and a thriving craft coffee scene.
Nearby you can find the Jacobean; Felbrigg Hall, take a seal-spotting trip at Blakeney, visit Cley smokehouse, walk the coastal path or spoil yourself with a michelin-star dinner at Morston hall a stalwart of the North-norfolk culinary landscape.
If you are looking to entertain children, there is the North-Norfolk steam railway, Amazona zoo with it’s Jaguars and Pumas, a handful of beachfront arcades, a crazy golf course, and even a go-kart track.
